QUATE EXAMINATION - September 27, 2009 in Lisbon, Portugal

The Organizing Committee of the 35th European Congress of Cytology is pleased to inform potential candidates that the QUATE test for cytotechnologists will be held in Lisbon during the first day of the congress, on the 27th September.

A minimum of 10 candidates is required and there is an upper limit of 24.

Fee will be 150€ and 31st May is the deadline for application.

The QUATE test is a proficiency test for cytotechnologists who fulfill the criteria for accreditation in their own countries. It will be held in English and Portuguese.
The national QUATE delegate must approve applications for the QUATE exam.

On the day of the examination a photographic proof of identity from each candidate is required (e.g. Passport). On no account can a candidate be allowed to sit the examination without proof of identity.

The test is carried out according the "European Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Cervical Cancer Screening".
