Come and see Lisbon, a city proud of its past, its people and its culture. You will see the city's most beautiful sights. We will start with the historical quarters of Belem and Ajuda.
Continue along the Tagus river to downtown Lisbon. Enjoy a walking tour through the oldest quarter Alfama where still nowadays a strong Arabic influence can be felt. Up the hill we will reach St. George Castle, where you can admire the fantastic view over the city of Lisbon.

Driving east along the Tagus river we will reach the Parque das Nações – the newest quarter emerged in 1998 when the World Expo was inaugurated, which is nowadays a public park containing several attractions. The most noteworthy attraction in is the Oceanarium, which was designed by architect Peter Chermayeff, and is considered to be the largest Oceanarium in Europe and constructed to simbolize the Earth with its 5 Continents and Oceans. The flora and fauna of the four world oceans are displayed in four different tanks, which you can witness face to face through 30 centimetres of glass. Afterwards you will have some time for shopping in the Vasco da Gama Shopping Centre. There take a look at theWater Ceiling!

Tour C - Historical Tour of Lisbon

Come and join us on a historical tour of Lisbon on board of an “Electrico”, the tramcar of Lisbon. Enjoy a ride through the most picturesque areas of the city, taking you on a fascinating trip to Graça, Alfama, Baixa, Chiado, Camões, São Bento, Estrela, Lapa, quarters where you can feel the atmosphere of the old times, when Lisbon was inhabited by the arabs. You can see these influences nowadays in the narrow and twisted streets and in some houses.

Cross the bridge over the River Tagus via the Southern Highway, reaching the vineyards of Azeitão. We will visit the famous wine cellars of José Maria da Fonseca where we shall taste the local wines. Founded in 1834, the José Maria da Fonseca Company is Portugal's oldest table wine producer and is run by the sixth generation of the founder's family. The trip continues with a drive through the Arrabida natural reserve park where we will have a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean. Visit of the busy port of Setúbal, with its the fortress situated at the top of a hill, facing the golden, sandy beaches of Troia, a seaside resort, before climbing the walls of the imposing Palmela Castle.

We will start by visiting Sintra, classified by Unesco as a World Heritage Site, where we will have a panoramic view of the National Palace, distinguished by its conical twin kitchen chimneys. The tour proceeds to the magnificent Convent of Mafra, dating from the 18th Century. King João V had it built as payment to the promise he made if he had an heir to the throne. With 220mts long it has a remarkable library (with about 30.000 books), a Basilica, Cloisters and the church bells can be heard at a distance of 15km.

Drive to Sintra, classified by Unesco as a World Heritage Site, with wonderful vegetation due to the microclimate of the Serra de Sintra, we will visit the romantic Pena Palace, that is situated in one of the highest peaks of the mountain range. The lunch will be served in a local restaurant. After lunch we will have the opportunity to visit the Sintra National Palace, also called Village Palace. It is the best preserved medieval Royal Palace in Portugal. On our way back, we will visit the Roca Cape, the western most point of Continental Europe.

Tour G - Obidos, Nazaré, Batalha & Fatima

Travel to Obidos, a beautiful walled medieval town with narrow cobbled streets, picturesque houses, ramparts and the 17th century church of Santa Maria. Try the local “ginginha” (cherry liquor) one of the regional specialities. Further north we reach Nazaré one of the most typical fishing villages of Portugal. We will have a stop at Sítio and enjoy a magnificent view over the village and the beautiful sandy coast. Lunch at a local restaurant. Proceed to Batalha and visit the Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitória, a masterpiece of late Gothic and Manueline architecture. We continue to Fatima, one of the most important Christian centers of pilgrimage, our lady of Fatima. We will visit the Sanctuary including the little Chapel of the Apparitions and also the impressive Basilica which houses the tombs of Francisco and Jacinta, two of the little shepherds to whom our Lady appeared.
